Vince Dixon,
Vince Dixon (he/him) is a queer Black writer whose work explores identity, love, and survival through a Black LGBTQ+ lens.
He grew up in sunny South Florida and discovered his love for storytelling early on. At fifteen, he began writing and sharing stories on Tumblr and other online communities, where he first experienced the excitement of connecting with readers and other writers. Those early digital spaces helped shape his voice and sparked a lifelong passion for storytelling.
Vince later studied English at Florida Memorial University, where he continued developing his interest in narrative craft and character-driven storytelling.
His short film Warrior received critical recognition and placed second at the OUTshine LGBTQ+ Film Festival, where it was praised for its emotional depth and storytelling.
Outside of writing, Vince is an avid gaymer who loves story-driven role-playing games and immersive RPG worlds where character and choice shape the narrative. Many of his creative influences come from games, film, and and the golden age of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
He currently lives in Austin, keeping things weird.
